Avacado Challenge

I logged avacado yesterday for my first time but the challenge didn't count it. Any ideas why?!

    Don't know anything about the challenge but maybe it accepts or rejects based on spelling?? Avocado versus Avacado. Not being "mean". Just trying to help. There are numerous incorrectly spelled words in the database as well as many correct but varied spellings for a word.

    ETA: I just corrected 2 typos in my own very short post! :)

    Well here is news to you, I had avacado before and it was delicious. You should give it a try.

    It's not logging any of the ones that I add. I've tried different brands etc. I know in my case it's not a spelling issue as I paid attention to ensure it was spelled properly when in was added.

    ETA - so I queried Avacado from Mexico and there is an entry from that specific brand. That one was counted. Apparently for this challenge it only counts that brand. That detail should be noted in the challenge :neutral:

    @CoffeeNCardio: Yes. That was cute! As an ex-school teacher this was always one of my favorites to help children understand why they might be confused:

    When the English tongue we speak
    Why is break not rhymed with weak?
    Won't you tell me why it's true
    We say sew, but also few?
    And the maker of a verse
    Cannot rhyme his horse with worse?
    Beard is not the same as heard,
    Cord is different from word,
    Cow is cow, low is low,
    Shoe is never rhymed with foe.
    Think of hose and dose and lose,
    And think of goose and yet of choose,
    Think of comb and tomb and bomb,
    Doll and roll and home and some.
    And since pay is rhymed with say,
    Why not paid with said I pray?
    Think of blood and food and good;
    Mould is not pronounced like could.
    Why is done, but gone and lone -
    Is there any reason known?
    To sum it up, it seems to me
    That sounds and letters don't agree.

    Thank you this worked! And I knew I spelled it wrong but everytime I tried to fix it my phone autocorrected incorrectly and I just let it slide. Thank you all!

    thanks doesn't work for me though :( The sign up link just takes me to 'challenges' but nothing there.

    Is there a new app version? I'm currently on 5.1.3 EDIT just updated to 5.2.1
