Im very excited, but I want to hear from you all if it's a good one. This is what Im thinking about getting....Polar FT7M Heart Rate Monitor - Black/ Silver . It's on sale for $99.99...I wish it came in a "girlie" color, but I like silver and black too! lol Oh, and it comes with a chest strap as well.

I have a ProForm HRM from Walmart. I forget the exact model number, but it's the only one they sell that comes with a chest strap. It was $50.00 and it works excellent :-)0

Check everywhere for the best deal!!!!!!! I got the same one in pink color for less than $99.99. I bought it on Ebay or Amazon. Enjoy!0

You can't go wrong with Polar. Very reliable based upon my experience. I've since switched to a Garmin since I run and like the GPS but if you don't need GPS, I still prefer Polar's heart rate and calorie calculation features.0

I use to have a polar and it worked well but I recently had to get a new one cause the polar stopped working properly. I am sure just because it was over 3 years old and they wear out. I now have a Timex. The only reason I went with the Timex is cause it did more stuff and was $99.95 while the polar was $109.95. I love my timex cause it is not so bulky like the polar. Polars are very good though too.0

I just bought the FT7 and have used it a couple times. Love it! Am looking forward to seeing how many calories I use in HipHop tonight. In my mind I know its got to be thousands!! But will see the actual # tonight. Will let you know. But I definitely would recommend it.0

No, I don't need a GPS, although I can get lost just walking off of the front porch!0 -

The M next to the FT7 stands for Male, it is the man's version of the HRM. The only real difference is the size and colour, the man's one is slightly larger.0 -
I have the Polar FT40 and love it found it on heartratemonitorsusa.com at a good price and also found a coupon to get extra off! And got free shipping! Take a look at the site you might get a good deal and the 40 comes in white if you like white.0

Oh sheesh, is that what the M stood for? There are days where I just have to laugh at myself...guess Im the new owner of a macho HRM then!! I suppose it's not a big deal as long as it reads the same way. Probably not worth the hassle of trying to cancel the order.0 -

You'll be fine.. When you set it up it will ask for height, weight, age and sex.. so you can specify that your a female and not a guy The strap may be a bit larger as with the watch size but both are adjustable so it shouldn't be too awful.
I have a Polar FT7 in black/gold and I love it!0 -
Love my Polar FT4 which I got several weeks ago. Very comfortable and accurate.
Got mine off Amazon for under $80. Couldn't recommend it more.0
