Apple Watch and MFP - perfect together

Options
Watch tracks my daily steps and syncs them right into MFP --- I get to eat a few extra calories that I wouldn't have had available if I (actually, my watch) wasn't counting my steps.

Am enjoying how Apple Watch syncs steps into the MFP app and also how it gives workout results. Hoping in the future the battery changes so it can monitor my sleep ( like I've been told Fitbit does)

I had a Fitbit. Now that I've switched to Apple Watch my steps do not show up in MFP. The calorie adjustment does show but it is far less than what fit bit showed. I have gone back-and-forth trying to adjust settings for this but none have worked, I am super frustrated.
The calorie adjustments that are showing are due to me manually entering the start and stop exercise in the Apple Watch ( nothing for steps). I I am so frustrated. Can anyone help?
