Google Fit Doesn't Make Sense

Hello! I trust everyone is well today.
Alright, so yesterday I had linked mfp and Google fit on android together to just see how it works, but it seems that none of the numbers between the two apps make sense.
With the same information inputted, Google fit is saying that I am burning around 2100 calories daily, which on its own doesn't make sense seeing as my maintainence intake according to mfp is far above that. Mfp is most certainly more accurate in this case, as I have lost almost 2 pounds this week.
Also, according to the Google fit app, I have burned 80 calories walking 11 minutes today, which in itself seems high, but mfp has automatically input around 300 calories for exercise as taken from Google fit. When you look at the explanation provided, its saying that Google calculates I will burn around 3000 calories (which is not what their app says) and mfp calculates I'll burn around 2700, so the difference is my exercise. These numbers all seem to be nonsense.
Does anybody understand how this works? Am I missing something? I'm disconnecting the apps until I can actually understand what is going on, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

How long have you been dieting? Losing 2 or more pounds in the first couple weeks is not unusual and may not be an indication of future loss (you lose water during the first couple weeks).
I found the information flowing from Google Fit to MFP is pretty good (once I took Endomondo out of the equation). The info flowing back to Google Fit is just plain wrong but that's another story....0 -

I've done this diet before, and lost 30ish pounds; I'm quite familiar. The loss of water weight is much more present in low carb, but I still have a fairly healthy carb intake. Mfps maintainence calorie calculation of around 2700 at my height and weight is appropriate, certainly much more than googles 2100.
What I find strange however is the disparate information that Google fit is giving. All it shows me is a calories burned of around 2100, but its telling mfp that I've burned over 3000, giving me a exercise burn of over 300. This seems to be nonsense, especially when the app itself is saying I've walked a total of 11 minutes and burned 80 calories (which is still high for 11 minutes of walking.) Where are these numbers coming from?
If this is not this way for anyone else, I imagine there is a glitch on my side.
As far as the info flowing into Google fit, I'm just doing simple calorie counting, and its getting that right at least. Can't say how itd be if I did the whole 9 hahaha0 -
I need a few more weeks to see how it shakes out but for now it seems pretty close to Endomondo & MFP give me (combined). The info flowing to Google Fit is way off.

I downloaded a third party fitness calculator, and it gave me some interesting information that might be applicable if this isn't an isolated incident.
So maintainence weight or TDEE in itself is a calculation of BMR and total energy expenditure. This takes into account digestion as an energy expenditure.
BMR, or basal metabolic rate represents calorie burn without digestion or exercise.
I think, at least for me, fit is showing BMR and exercise, but is sending some sort of (still inflated) TDEE to my fitness pal which it doesn't actually show the user. That's the only explanation I have for the numbers currently.
Whoooaaa, yeah, the calorie info on your Google fit is messed up, unless you're not actually human. Mine is picking up my calories fine at least.0
