Does anyone know if there's a place to figure in breastfeeding? I know you're supposed to have more calories when you are but I can't find anything.

I am breastfeeding as well and you can log "breastfeeding" in MFP (as if it is a food) and it will subtract 500cals from you daily total.... I hope this helps

Why would it subtract 500? Shouldn't it add because you're burning the extra calories?

Depends on what you mean by add/subtracting.

I just set MFP to maintain my current weight.

It's deducting from your calorie intake since you are logging it as a food item.

You can manually change your calorie goal to account for breastfeeding, you can log it as a food in the food diary or you can make a custom exercise (but you'd have to enter the calorie burn).

    I just changed my goal.

Also, if you're breastfeeding, your minimum intake should be 1800 calories. Any lower and your supply will suffer.
