 So I made a goal to start eating fresh fruits or veggies everyday. Well I have for 8 of the last 9 days! I know it may sound silly, but I have seriously gone months without eating either before. I have really only concentrated on my calories so far and I am trying to eat healthier. It hasn't been as hard as I thought and I have found they are really low in calories so they fill me up using fewer calories. So I know I need to excercise too, but I haven't been doing that regularly, but that will be my next goal.

Good for you! I'm doing the same!

Cantaloupes are AMAZING this year, at least the ones we're getting in Cali. I just bought a couple baby watermelons, and they were pretty good as well. Bananas I always go through phases, but they've been good this year too.

I can't seem to do fresh veggies, I end up with frozen steamers. But better than nothing.

    Good luck!

Same. I used to do fresh only but the frozen ones are just so much quicker! No chopping/no cleaning and can cook mass amounts quickly.

Good luck on your fruit and veggie goal kfitz10103
  • This is the one thing that is still hard for me and I have to really make an effort to get them into my diet. Good for you, feel free to share any tips to getting them in!

my tip is to precook in bulk. Then package them up e.g. I just cooked 8 chicken breasts and 2lbs of veggies last night. Put them all into containers and I will cook some extra veggies in a few days :)
