Weight loss happens when you are in a caloric deficit. This means that you will lose weight no matter what you eat, as long as you are eating less calories than your body burns.

Your body burns calories just by living, and you can burn extra calories through exercise, if you want to.

Put your stats (age, height, weight, goals) into MyFitnessPal, and eat the number of calories it tells you to eat each day. Make sure you use a food scale so that you know how many calories you are actually eating (for example, don't just select "1 small apple", actually weigh the apple so that you know its weight in grams).

Eat what you normally eat, just less of it.

Get a food scale and weigh all your solid foods so that you can get as close to the accurate calorie count as possible.

As long as you eat fewer calories in a day than your body uses, you'll lose weight.

    Logging your calorie intake, everyday.

    Seriously.

Eat your normal foods, within moderation and within your calorie goal. Consider buying a food scale for portion accuracy. It'll work, isn't harsh, and is sustainable over the long term.

a special diet is not necessary to lose weight. consuming less energy (calories) than your body requires to maintain the status quot is all that is necessary, and it's very easy.

Follow your caloric intake on MFP and give it time.

    Buy yourself a food scale.
    Weigh all food you eat.
Eat at a deficit. Like other poster have already mentioned. you need to eat less calories than you burned.
Good luck in your healthy journey

Also know that there is no supplement that will help you lose weight either, I know you didn't mention it, but just want to put it out there.
