Zumba anyone?

I have been doing Zumba for the last 2 yrs and I'm addicted! It burns a lot of calories but my body is already used to it. I just keep going for fun but I don't sweat nearly as much as I did a year ago. Any Zumba addicts here ?

    I love Zumba too! Because of a foot issue I can't do any jumps so I know I burn fewer calories, but I think the puzzle solving parts of learning new dance steps is VERY good for our brains.

    Of course you burn less calories. If you did Body Pump or Kickboxing the same thing would happen. When you get more fit, your body becomes more efficient. If you enjoy it, keep going, if not, find someting else do do. Cross training (doing different activities) is the best idea.

    Surprising to many of my male friends, I love Zumba. It's a great way to lose weight during my bodybuilding comp prep. And with me being one of the few male (straight) in the room, I get to be in the room with a lot of beautiful women.

    I am the same way! I have been doing zumba for two years and although she does change the routines I am use to it. I go know for a fun but hopefully still burning off some calories!

    Zumba is great! It makes me happy! Zumba and Turbo Kick are my go-to cardio workouts.

    You're right! It makes me happy too! Just doesn't really make sweat all that much anymore. So I'm doing bootcamp or HITT as cardio. I do weight lifting for the most part. I love Zumba thou!

    Love Zumba! But I'm with you. The more fit I became, the less of a sweat fest it was for me. I do it now for fun, and my main program is something different.

    I sometimes hop into a Zumba class as active rest. It's fun & enjoy the mind body connection & agility aspect of using different movements. It allows me to burn a few calories without burning myself out.

    I love Zumba, I go 3x's a week. I think your body get used to it because you're doing the same routine (I can be wrong ) my instructor switches up our routine every 3 weeks and we don't do the same songs each class, so it's basically always new (to me).

    My addiction is Les Mills - Body Combat. Zumba Toning with some weights isn't Bad.

    When I do cardio, which is like a few times per year, it's usually zumba. It's pretty fun. Not a huge calorie burn for me either but more than nothing.
