A pound every other day? Impressive but dangerous without medical supervision.

Hmm..went to her profile really quick to see if her diary was open. It says there she's lost 76 pounds?!?

    A bit confused..

I'll agree that this seems like a lot of pounds in a very short time. If it's not medically supervised in some way, this is TOO fast methinks. Not trying to be a Debbie Downer but usually to get these types of superfast results, it requires you to do something that will not be sustainable as a lifestyle, i.e. eating too few calories or working out 3 hours a day or more...or both.

Hopefully, there's more going on here than is readily apparent...

I've lost 20 in my first month. I did calorie restricting but I'm pretty sure most of it came from giving up salty food, pop & wine (basically lost a ton of water bloat I was holding). I lost 6 inches in my stomach alone.

So, it is possible to lose that much when you first get started without starving yourself. Praise the progress, don't be a Debbie downer when someone is trying to celebrate early success. Anyone who's lost weight knows how hard that first 30 days is.
