I have a friend who is battling cancerous abnormal cells on her Cervix and asked me about cancer fighting foods. Can anyone suggest daily/weekly foods or nutritional treatments to help beat and cure these cells? It is not yet become cancerous and is in it's early stages. I believe she was first diagnosed less than two years ago.

Thank you in advance!

Encourage your friend to eat as cleanly/organic as possible. NO fast food, processed food, foods with additives, etc. Clean wholesome choices, green/white/red teas.

It also depends on treatments she is receiving. If she is in chemo or radiation then they do not recommend fruit. I have two family members fighting cancer at the moment and we were surprised to see it right in the literature at the hospital. Something to do with the antioxidants actually fighting the treatments.

Other than that it is just super clean eating, organic foods and very little sugar and alcohol.

If you want to PM me We have a very close family friend who was given a recipe for a smoothie she drinks every day. She has incurable cancer (so they said) and has been following the diet to a T and they are saying she has had miraculous results. I'll try to find the smoothie recipe for you.

    antioxidants!!!
    berries, berries, berries.

smoothies are a great way to get antioxidants. liquid form is more effective than solid form. going to a health store and using 'antioxdiant powders' and 'matcha' are great antioxidant boosters.

veggies have antioxdiants too. the most effective way of getting antioxidants from veggy drinks is by making them first thing in the moning and drinking it then. antioxidants that are consumed in liquid form and early morning work best- the antioxidant goes directly to the blood stream.

    hope that helps!

    Some high-antioxidant, cancer fighting foods:

    brocolli
    strawberries
    blackberries
    raspberries
    mangos
    spinach
    beets
    sweet potatoes
    matcha
    tomatoes
    blueberries
    acai
    carrots
    peppers: jalepeno and bell
    green tea
  • It is not to that stage yet, thank goodness! I really appreciate all of the food ideas here though, folks! THANK YOU!!!!

PS: The "friend" is me... :embarassed: I just wasn't ready to admit it.

    Thanks again,

    RLG

Try reading "The China Study". It has detailed studies on the effects of food on cancer development. It is a fascinating read and has the science to back it up.
