So, to keep myself motivated I started pinning (Pinterest) pictures of girls with the body that I eventually would like to get close to and looking at motivational fitness quotes. Anyone else have silly ways to keep themselves motivated? You can ever have too much motivation :)

I just use my own body as motivation. I have a few pictures of myself at a lower weight and seeing how bright my eyes were is a huge motivator. I want that back.

Yeah! I don't use my own previous body because I was pretty sad at that weight and my eyes look dead >_> but I do get inspired by girls I want to look like. Now they're more strong than skinny I guess.
Basically I just want to be Joanna Jedrzejczyk because look how perfect she is.

If that keeps you motivated and go for it ! Its really only a problem when someone says stuff like " this is exactly how I need to look " or constantly compares themselves to celebrities and such like " I gotta get a jlo booty " and obsesses over it . but just to look at pictures and say" hey this lady looks nice and I would also like to look nice so I'll keep working at it " is fine. For me ,it doesn't do much to look at others . I prefer looking at myself ( I'm vain and self centered lol !) I don't ever want to look heavy again, so those pictures remind me of how awful I felt heavy and how I never want to be like that again !

I don't really look at other women's pictures for motivation. I'm working on building my butt and sometimes if I see a woman with amazing glutes I'll look into what her training is like and see if I can incorporate some new lifts, fully knowing that my butt may never look like that. Because genetics.

Nah, I never compare...but I do think Oksana Grishina has the ultimate body imoho. She is a professional body builder and has been in Sports Illustrated. I will never be a professional body builder nor do I wish to be...for that matter Im pretty happy with who I am. I havent looked anywhere to see what I wish to look like. Its just not who I am....plus I'm happy to see my own trasformation.

I look at my fat photos to inspire me to continue working out and aim for the athletic body I seek. Before and after picre4duqbkcafq.jpg
