Looking to improve my nutrition

I'm fairly slim and I work out. I do try to maintain and lose weight but that's not my main goal. My goal is to be healthy but not to the point where I completely cut out certain foods etc. I just want to make sure my diet is balanced. Anyone know any particular foods that have many nutritional benefits that can be incorporated into my daily weekly diet? Also my hair is fairly lank so I don't know if there's any particular foods that really help? My hair used to be really long, thick and healthy
