Has anyone ever heard of Natu-real diet supplements. I use to take the pills back in September and loss 10 lbs in a month with running. Now the company has expanded with protein powder and other products. And wanted to know if anyone has tried their new products.

I see some protein powder, some t shirts, and a hell of a lot of woo on that link. If you look at the descriptions of the pills, they say that you've got to eat 'right' and exercise while taking the pills. i.e the pills do next to nothing by themselves, because sustained weight loss is all about a calorie deficit.

I mean seriously, check out this gem from the product text:

"This is the opportunity to detox your mind body and soul from negative liquids, food, habits and/or people."

I know I have to eat right and I did when I was taking them plus I was running.

So, if a person can lose weight while eating right and exercising while taking the pill, and they can also lose weight while eating right and exercising without taking the pill, the only common factor is the diet and exercise. Thus making the pill complete woo.

As for the protein powders on that site, they are rather pricey.

No I don't sell it. When I took it, it really helped me surpress my appetite while I work. I work 7 to 8 hr shifts at work with no breaks. So I'm starving at work (sometimes) , and thought this would aid in curving that. I mean something has to be better than nothing right?

Blimey, where do you live? Here in the UK that's very very illegal for a employer to make you work over 6 hours without a break.

Do you have to wear any special clothing? Slipping some Macadamia nuts or something else that's pretty small and calorie dense into a pocket of normal clothes could provide you with a quick amount of calories than you can devour in a few mouthfuls while on the move.

I like that idea, nuts squirreled away in a pocket and to-go container with protein shake.

I thought US Federal Law mandated one break period within a six hour shift but that must have been my particular state. http://www.dol.gov/whd/flsa/faq.htm

You can check out your state here:
    http://www.dol.gov/whd/state/meal.htm
    http://www.dol.gov/whd/state/rest.htm
(Your profile says Georgia; that state has nothing listed :()

Another vote for nuts or protein bars in your pockets. Since you can drink water, can you drink smoothies? I can easily get 400 calories into a smoothie.

Something's not always better than nothing depending what's in the pills. I used a shake system for 60 days once and the synthetic ingredients in the shake gave me headaches, stomach aches, terrible gas and bowel movements. Good old food is the best way to go.

I get it. I have days where I know going in that using the bathroom isn't going to be an option, let alone lunch. But eating a snack is better than using a pill to artificially suppress your appetite. I drink coffee with 12oz of milk on the way to work and hit the bathroom on the way in and that'll usually get me through my 12h if it needs to.

No. In this case it is not. The pills really aren't doing much, and certainly nothing healthy.
