I joined healthywage and would get 353 dollars end of may... if I succeed...
I try to walk more and do step aerobics and body weight things in bed in the evening, one day the back of my legs from lower butt to soles was aching. i recently got off a weightgaining drug risperdal that i gained 50kg in 6 years. It helped a lot, but lifestyle change isn't easy..
I have a kettlebell too but I used to give up on that after I got out of breath. also I can't squat cause my knees make a rattlin noise..
I want to find new ways to exercise! help..

25lb in six months is very doable. It's great that you are exercising, remember though that weight loss is about 80% food...make sure you are in calorie deficit. Measure and/or weigh all food and drink that you consume.
Sounds like swimming or aquaerobics may suit you or perhaps water walking.
You need to work up to the exercise, start with low intensity and build from there.
Give the kettle bell a miss until your fitness has increased or perhaps get a lighter one..it maybe that getting out of breath is due to the weight being too heavy. Maybe reduce the number of reps if using current kettle bell.

thanks for these tips. when I go swimming it really shows on the scale. there are but's though cause it's expensive and no places seems to be near enough..
my fitness has improved from walking all summer so that will help with other exercising. I will get off my computer asap from sitting down and try some swings0 -
Abso-bally-lutely. I started at 238lb in July 2013 with a goal of 28lb in 6 months - actually lost 40lb in the same amount of time. Being so big, the only exercise I did was walking - aimed for 3 miles a day. But counting calories is what did it.
There's loads of great advice around, but this one helped me massively:

This is a big list of lots of different posts:

If you feel overwhelmed, don't read all at once, but it's great to dip into and will answer most of your questions.
Welcome to the boards, and very good luck.0
