This may not help you at all but I found that I only like water "fridge cold". CANNOT stand drinking ice water or room temperature water. Made a huge difference for me. I get the Starbucks cold cups that are like 24 oz with a straw and go to town all day long...and I'm the type who used to drink 8 oz coffee and 12 oz diet soda in a whole day...0

Unsweetened iced tea? I drink lots of water every day, and I love it. Why don't you like water? Water helps you to digest your food properly, makes your internal organs function, and makes your skin glow. I feel sluggish and tired when I don't drink enough water.0

not everything is about weight loss or weight management...there are numerous elements of health and well being that go beyond weight management...being hydrated is good for you...being chronically dehydrated as many are, is not healthy...it really doesn't have anything to do with weight management.0

I never drink plain water0

If you don't like it, don't drink it..! theres tea/coffees/herbal teas...flavoured waters....
water is actually something you would get used to if you gave it half the chance, its my drink of preference, especially if its iced and has some lemon in it0 -

Yes you must drink lose but you can drink green tea, coffe, and flavord water0

You don't have to drink tons of water necessarily...you just need to GET the water..it can come from your food if you can eat stuff with lots of water content that still fits in your calorie allotment.
If you hate water (even with the addition of flavorings) then you can try lightly sweetened tea or coffee but you will want the decaffeinated varieties to avoid the diuretic effect caffeine has...you won't be getting a net "gain" of water.
I myself don't drink as much water as I probably SHOULD but I've gone from soda consumption and coffee exclusively to now getting typically 2 20 oz bottles of water daily with sugar-free flavoring and lemon juice added along with usually a morning coffee. (NOT decaf...I need the caffeine)0 -
Not really, you drink it lose fat only ☺️ weight is another thing!0

Not true, actually. Yes, caffeine has a mild diuretic effect, but generally it won't outstrip the hydration you get from the beverage. (Maybe it would for something like an energy drink that, ounce for ounce, has a TON of caffeine, but the studies I've read refer specifically to coffee - it's not as "good" as water, but it's still a net positive on hydration, and coffee has a higher caffeine content than nearly all sodas, teas, etc.)
OP - as others have said, you don't need to drink plain water specifically. Any beverage would work, as long as you are counting the calories, if any, and avoiding any specific ingredients you might be sensitive to (artificial colors or sweeteners, caffeine, etc.). And you probably don't need quite as much as is often recommended - everyone is different and every beverage choice is different so I wouldn't dare to suggest a total number of ounces per day, but claims that you need "half your body weight in ounces" and stuff like that are probably not necessary for most people. Pay attention to how bloated you feel (water retention is a sign of needing more water), how thirsty you are, and the frequency/color of your pee, and that will give you a good indication of if you need more or you'd be good with a bit less.0 -

Um, can't even...
But no, water is probably the best drink but I don't like it either. I try to drink a bottle here and there, but I drink a lot of tea. Whatever you drink counts. Even water in food counts. I usually drink to thirst.0 -
Well there's carbonated water with some flavoring or without. Those are good. I also get single packets of instant tea or juice to put in my water bottle. 10 calories a packet for 16-20 oz.0

I buy bottled water and Propel mix packets. I'm not a huge water person either, but the Berry Propel is SO good.0

I can guarantee you your body doesn't hate water. Go for a hard run in the summer and your body will want one thing...water. The carbonated water is acidic, not that that is horrendous, but good to know.
Just grab a small 8oz cup of water here and there and down it quickly, your body will be happy with you.0 -
You hate water? Mio. Done.
End thread.0 -
Thanx everyone ) I will try drink more water0
