How long do you keep food?

Im saying is there a site of somekind that says this particular food like spinach or yogurt,or lunch meat,eggs-etc go bad at a certain time/day? Expiration lol thats the word .Sorry,rough day.

    i usually keep it maybe 2 days after expiration then i get scared and trash it lol

    the nose knows! if it doesn't smell or look as fresh as it should then i toss it! yogurt is good for a couple weeks after expiration usually, any thing with a "sell by" date you got a good week with.

    It really depends, my milk for the last few months has been sour smelling by the "Sell by" date, usable the day before but once the date is here it's off-smelling. Fruits and veggies if it's slightly wilted I'll usually eat it anyway, but if it's very wilted or bruised it's tossed into the composter.

    Cooked stuff I use a 72 hour rule from time of thaw to latest point of consumption (if I need to keep it longer I freeze it, including pancakes and french toast, if Eggo's can be frozen and good for a year my pancakes will be good for a couple weeks)
