How do I add 100 calories of exercise?

I ate a pre-made frozen chicken sandwich today for dinner (open diary). I want to take off 100 calories because I did not eat the bread bun.
Can I just go to exercise and just add 100 calories of exercise to "wipe out" the bread I did not eat? If so, please pretend you are explaining to a 5th grader. I tried typing calories and nothing came up.
Or is there a food in the database that SUBTRACTS calories?

Just click on the entry in your food diary and adjust the bread off.

I would enter the quantity as less than one. So if it's 400 calories total, enter .75 of a sandwich. You can fiddle with the amount until you get the calories you want.

Can't you just log the sandwich filling rather than whatever entry you're using? That way your macros should be more accurate. (I can't see your diary but that might be because I'm on my phone).

No, there is a quick add but not a quick subtract. If you aren't concerned about your macros, you can just adjust the number of servings to make the calories 100 less. Like if the calories of one serving is 300, log 0.66 servings so the cals come up 200 calories. Personally, I would make a mental note that I could go 100 calories over today rather than mess with that though.

I think I figured it out. I'm making my own exercise. 1 calorie for 1 minute, and putting 100 minutes. This might work.

I would hope that the Fed chairperson would be better with such things like numbers and math...

Rather than adding calories, you can enter the bun as a negative number in your food diary. For example, if you had a Wendy's Spicy Chicken Sandwich and threw out the bun, you could log 1 Wendy's Spicy Chicken Sandwich, and then -1 (negative one) bun. MYF will subtract it from your diary accordingly. (I don't know if this works on the mobile version, but it does work on the desktop.)

kc_dc That is so cool !!! It worked on my laptop. Hooray for you. Thank you.
I can also just search for calorie and type -100 in the serving size. Awesome.
