Hi..hoping someone can help...I've discovered quinoa(and I really enjoy it), but not enough to interrupt any progress... So I'm wondering how much of it can one consume in a day and still stay on track (it seems pretty high in calories, so)...thanks in advance

Look at your day as a whole. Then you decide how much you can fit in. It is totally dependent on what the rest of your day includes. No one can tell you the prefect amount for you, except you.
  • Cool, thanks.

Quinoa and soy are the only complete plant proteins that contain all 9 amino acids!! Of course all in moderation but if you are a vegetarian, this is a great source of protein and you should be eating a good amount.
  • ok, thanks Jillasmar...very helpful info

As much as I think I can eat. I love the stuff. As long as it's not made with tons of olive oil, I consider it a volume food = I can eat till I'm full.
  • Thanks Janet! I've fallen in love with it as well
