I've had my vivofit2 for several months now but didn't log my workouts till now due to an injury.
I notice if i add my exercise to my fitness pal it does not show up on the garman app unless I manual put it in , but if I add it to the garman app it does not let me add the calories burned.
Am I doing something wrong or do I have to choose one or the other to add my exercise?

To add calories you'll need to use the desktop version of GC. The activities you've added can be edited in GC. A silly question, but are GC and MFP connected so you're also seeing daily steps in MFP?

Thanks yeah the two apps are connected and sync with one another, I just figured out I must add my exercise through garman for it to show up in mfp.
    Appreciate your help.

Princess this broke for me a few months ago and wasn't fixed. If the activity is created with Garmin then it automatically goes over to MFP. I think with the vf2 you can create an activity with the click of a button? I have the vf1 so I have to run for 10 minutes. Otherwise, I manually sync and it will show up in Garmin.

Correct. With the VF2, you can hold the button in to start an activity and hold it in again when finished. Then give that activity a name through the GC app later.
