Steps towards calories

sometimes my steps go against my calories and it automatically does it sometimes my steps don't count for any calories. Can anyone tell me why this is happening

You have to go into settings and disable negative calorie adjustments. So then it will not go negative. It will start adding in more calories when you reach a certain amount of steps.0

My garmin has been having similar issues. I have MFP set to sedentary so I can get a picture of my calories for "movement". Somedays I get 250 calories for 14,000 steps. Somedays 100.
I don't get it either.0
