Phase One: Seeing things as they should be:
I had another battle w/ donuts today. I had to get them for a work function. Not only did I have to order them, I had to pick them up and ride w/ them in my car....all the while listening to them taunt me;). But alas, I had a strategy. I picked a higher calorie breakfast than I normally would have choosen and consumed it as soon as I got to my office( before having any more contact w/ the temptation of hot, soft, melt in your mouth donuts). The event is over and not one donut was lost to my mouth. I'm happy.
I made another good choice and went under my calorie goal yesterday. ( I got more than 3 hrs sleep last night so should have energy to work out today too). Hmmm...I think I like counting success in a different way. If it wasn't a pound lost then it wasn't a success. Maybe just maybe seeing other things as success will lead to the pounds lost????? Hmmmm.....have I had it backwards all this time?

Good for you! I know those temptations are hard to resist! My biggest one is CHOCOLATE! There are certain times when I think if I don't get some chocolate, someone will have to pay! LOL! I just let myself have a healthier chocolate and work it in to my plan. My biggest downfall has been sugar. I just can't eat the stuff! It sets me BACK. Anyway, good luck and keep up the good work!0
