I really need help with exercise and motivation. I need to lose 60 pounds.

    Eat in a moderate calorie deficit, let science do the rest. Exercise is great for health, but it isn't actually required to lose weight.

    Thanks for the reply. I know I do need to exercise, however; I have Rheumatoid Arthritis. Would you know of any exercises I could do with this condition? Thanks ... Gus

    Swimming, walking, certain ellipticals might help if you're looking for something a little more challenging, but it might not be as hard on your body as running on a treadmill. I don't have RA, but I do have some joint issues and injuries I try to work around. I'll try to do a different kind of cardio every day to give my joints a break and some time to recover. Maybe try a bike or something also.
