I was halfway to my ideal GW & then a plateau happened... that was 2 yrs ago. I gained it all back. I want to redeem my beast again! When trying to start over, my biggest error is comparing myself to the old me, the one who use to gym religiously for 1.5hrs or more/day. Baby steps! Let's motivate one another!!!

I'm in a similar situation. I got to the healthiest I've been in years. Lost a ton of weight and could run 3 miles a few times a week like it was nothing. Now I'm right back to where I used to be and I hate it. This time it HAS to be different.

I'm in the same boat - lost 42lbs (3 stone) last year but put 28lbs (2 stone) back on. But I'm still 14lbs lighter than this time last year. It's worth remembering that the body has a survival feature that if it losses mass it tries its hardest to regain it. There is a drive to maintain a steady weight which means sometimes we slip back. We just need to find our magic key to success. We've done it before ladies, and we can do it again!!

I was nowhere near my GW as I had ALOT to lose but then I managed to gain what I lost and more. I'm the heaviest I have ever been and not happy! So yup, I'm returning.

Good luck, you have this! You've done it once and you can do it again! Whoop!!!

This is a mental game of "tug of war"... it's like I did so much better when I was working full time, going to school til 10pm at night. And I would find a way to squeeze in a workout. I literally would go home just to sleep with my son. Now that I work 8-5, no weekends, it's hard. Well especially now that I have the flu but still!
