Hi, so today is my first day on here and I am 100% determined to reach my goals and not be where I am now in 12 months. Looking for support and friendship to help get there because I know a few days/weeks/months into this I will struggle to remember those goals / disregard them... Am hoping to help others and would love to make some new wellbeing friendships to help others too reach their goals too. Thanks, Kay

Hi Kay. I'm back with a different mindset this time round and I'm much more motivated to change my lifestyle, rather than just going on a diet. I want to eat healthier and move a little more, my disability permitting
Have you written your goals down and broken them into smaller, achievable goals to keep you motivated? My first goal is half a stone, much less daunting than 5 stone!

Hi, I have 108lb to loose but as this is a rather large mountain to climb, I've calculated that I can achieve that with a 2lb a week weight loss over the year. I've also done a vision board with my 108lb of fat on it and will tick these off as I use each week to chip away at it. I've joined the gym too because have finally realised that exercise is the key to actually being healthy - my resting heart beat is worryingly higher than I realised, so reducing that to about 60 is my key fitness goal. Good luck to you too. I have a deformity in my knees which makes exercising very difficult. Going to do what I can, any movement is better than none. Let me know how you are getting on and good luck
