Hi, I'm 5'4 and 15 stone what's a practical weight loss goal for my September wedding

Well, if you set mfp to lose a pound a week I think 35 pounds is reasonable..1.5 pounds is around 55 I think but something in between might be most reasonable depending on how well you stick to the plan.0

Think more in regards to two - four months before your wedding, when you begin dress alteration appointments. Unless you're willing to pay more in dress alterations, you want to maintain your weight enough that you're not stressing that the dress is too big or you don't have time to get it altered. So think more about a goal to obtain by Juneish-July.
As far as your goal, it's really dependent on your goal. When you first start, you may see a 2lb/week loss. It will then slow down as you get closer to goal.
But congrats on the upcoming wedding. Mine is a short two and a half months away.0 -
Congrats!! Me too! But I agree with the above posters. If you're losing weight right up until the month or 2 before your wedding, the dress Will wind up being too big. My wedding is in September as well, and I'm trying to lose 25 lbs by the end of June. I'm 155 lbs and 5'3"0

Goal is 1% of body weight a week. Of course that changes as your weight goes down. As for wedding dress, I have no idea how to handle that.
