Hey there! 2016 is here and I've taken way too long at getting serious about dropping the 20-30 lbs I've been telling myself I need to lose forever! It's time!! I'm a mom of 2 wonderful kiddos. My husband is starting his own journey of weigh loss too. Together, I'm praying we can kick bad habits to the curb. I'm being realistic in knowing we'll slip up...oh yah, probably a bunch of times, but hopefully through friends and each other we can help each other get back on track and keep at it. I'm 38 and have a form of peripheral neuropathy, so maintaining a good weight is super important for my overall well being. If you're positive and in the same boat feel free to hit me up and we can be an encouragement to one another!!

Hi Rebecca, I started my 1st major life style change in in Oct 2015. I joined Medi weightloss since it is covered by my insurance. I also have 2 boys but they are almost men now: 1 is in high school and the other is in college. I need to loos about 50 lbs. I've lost about 13 lbs since I started and now I'm doing zumba and have a trainer too. I have not eaten bread or pasta since I started! I'm older than you....53 . I think support is key to this lifestyle change!
