Stumped on fiber... help?

I typically eat around 28g of fiber per day (my daily goal is 25g). I don't always hit it, but lately I have been because I've been trying to stick as closely to my goals as possible. I also drink a lot of water (8-11 glasses a day). My sodium is very rarely over (MAYBE once a week, at most). However, I feel constipated. I typically "go" every other day, but I would like to be able to go every day.
Any suggestions for me? Feel free to look at my diary. It's public.

I use whole psyllium husks daily whether I need to or not. Helps keep things moving and that makes me feel a whole lot better about things.
I don't report them because I'm more interested in where I land without them. But for me I'll add about 24g of fiber alone just from the psyllium husks.0 -
A while ago, my friend's infant had a terrible case of constipation, and one of the things the doc told my friend to try was giving the baby a teaspoon of olive oil. It helped... Could it be that you're not consuming enough fat?0

That was my thought, too... a bit of extra fat (i.e. a couple tsp of olive oil, not the kind in foods) helps a lot of people.0 -

I have psyllium fiber capsules and have in the past used them daily for about 2 weeks. I got SUPER constipated using them! Maybe I was taking too much of them though? I was taking 2-3 per day (which is the recommended amount on my bottle).0 -

Interesting thought! Entirely possible since I'm having a lot of cold or room temperature foods lately, not many cooked or grilled things with oil! I will try to add some healthy oils in tomorrow.0 -
For some reason, almonds always get me moving. Perhaps the combination of fiber and fat is what does the trick?0
