carb cravings

The past few days, I have been craving carbs! I almost went through an entire loaf of San Luis Sourdough the other day! Is there a reason I am craving carbs, like is my body telling me I need something? Or just a random craving/

    there is nothing wrong with you...carbs are carbs...the more you eat the more you crave...it's very easy. don't let yourself fooled by the fact that is fruit, peanut butter (like me), bread....anything is carbs, as healthy as it is is going to make you want more.
    this answer is coming straight from my nutritionist as i had the same problem and i do not like peanut butter :)))

    I have a binge problem, and here's what I found:

    carb cravings are caused by:
    -Protein deficiency
    -Fatty acid deficiency
    -thirst
    -Boredom
    -artificial sweetener consumption
    -Refined carbs/sugar

    How I'm solving it:
    -Eat pure protein when I can
    -Take omega-3 supplements
    -Drink water when a craving comes
    -GTFO of the dorm room (or kitchen)
    -Giving up diet sodas
    -Keeping sugar foods out of my dorm

    Just some ideas that might ring true for you, too.

    thanks! i'll try those tips out because I need to get this under control or I will not lose weight!
