Jawbone/mapmyrun calorie entries? Help?

I use my jawbone up3 and normally leave it to update any exercise calories I earn into MFP - I never enter it myself.
I downloaded map my run to help me start running.
I noticed it's created an entry on my UP app showing I did my run and logging it there. It's also made an entry onto MFP for calories earned.
Does this mean MFP then gives me calories for the map my run entry AND the jawbone up entry where it's logged as part of my daily step count? Therfore giving me double than what I've done?
Thanks I'm a bit confused here.

I have the jawbone up2 and I use strava for running. On mine it doesn't double count the calories burned it will leave the jawbone steps calories as 0 if I have also logged a run and if I have had a really busy day of lots of steps and run it will give me a few jawbone step calories. Don't think I have explained that very well but hope you get the gist. x

I think so @Vixyb_ If you log a run then it shows your steps as zero for that day if you log a run but do more steps than usual it will add on extra calories for the above average steps?
Mines still showed steps calories and run calories though and I've not reached my step targets.
I'd rather lose the calories than overeat them so I disconnected the mapmyrun app from mfp and left it synced to the UP app. Hopefully it will all balance out in the end.
