Sheriff's Mud Run Completed with Pics!

So last Saturday I participated in our county sheriff's mud run here in SoCal. I've done one other 5K Mud Run, The Warrior Dash, in April and I was hooked. This one, though, was killer! There were these large dirt hills which led to mud pits and more hills and pits. It reminded me of ExciteBike with mud!

Even my kids particpated in the 1k.

For those of you thinking of doing something like this I would say do it. I'm not in the shape I'd like to be in, but I finished and I hope to keep training to improve my times.

All in all it was a great day. I have bruises and scratches and even a bruise on the bottom of my foot. All well-earned battle trophies!
