Let's rock this!

Hi everyone! My name is Julia and I live in switzerland. Last may I gave birth to my first child. Before the pregnancy I already was ~30lbs (15kg) overweight. Because of VERY bad eating and almost no activity I gained ~65lbs(30kg). After leaving the hospital I lost the first 30lbs without even noticing or trying in a very short time. Over the last 5 months I wasn't very mindful about what I ate but I tried to move more. Not actual exercise just trying to walk with the stroller regularly.
Just before New Years I noticed that I'm sooooo far from where I wanted to be with my weightloss. After the birth I planned on beeing back at my pre-pregnancy weight for christmas....
Yep... great.. missed by over 50%.
Now I'm trying to get back on track and pushing myself and my weightloss with beeing serious about what I eat and doing regular exercise.
I would love to find some friends to share this hard journey! Feel free to add me!

Ah, the memories this brings back... I lost so much weight pushing the stroller and restricting my intake. I wasn't counting calories or anything and lost around 25 kg (eating very little and walking). Sweet memories firstly because my daughter was a baby and secondly because I had this immense willpower. Not sure where my willpower went to, but I have never found it again. I think this time I will have to do it with stubbornness as I had so many stop and starts that I feel it is now or never.

Based on your profile photo I thought you live in Australia, but Switzerland is not too shabby either :) do you have snow?

I hope you find your way back on track. If I'd only be able to transfer my stubbornness from daily life to weight loss... I bet I'd be down to my goal already

I find these little cuddly bears sooooo sweet. I once had the opportunity to hold and feed one. It was amazing. That's why I chose the pic. Unfortunately we had near to zero snow until now. But it started snowing in the alpes yesterday. Yay!
