Kick Startin' My Metabolism

Hey all! I know eating within an hour of waking up kick starts your metabolism, making weight loss easier...but does it work with liquid that has calories in it? (I.E. Juice, Milk, Coffee, Tea etc.)

The best foods to kickstart metabolism, I've been told, are those with protein, fat, and fiber in them. So you're looking more at a poached egg with a whole wheat english muffin and even a little butter. If you want the convenience of a drink, though, you could consider a protein powder made with whey that has high protein, a good amount of fiber, and is low sugar and make a shake out of it with yogurt, fruit, milk, water, ice, whatever. (Designer Whey is my favorite) HTH!0
