I'm trying to lose 40 pounds by Mid March but I want to cut a lot of calories without making my self what's the least amount of calories you can eat on a healthy diet.

I wouldn't recommend go under 1000-1200, otherwise you will have no power for exercising and you will be constantly hungry... Good luck!

The BEST thing to do is to cut whatever your TDEE is by 500-750 calories per day depending on how much you want to lose.

Use something like this then take whatever it says and subtract 500-750 calories and you should be good. This is the same as using MFP as intended. Set your goal and it will tell you what to eat.

Or use this and eat that exact amount no matter how much you exercise. This is your BRM which is basically how much you burn if you were doing nothing.

I personally wouldn't eat any less than one of those. However, the National Institutes of Health notes that most women can safely lose weight consuming 1,000 to 1,200 calories a day, while men can consume 1,200 to 1,600 calories for safe weight loss (which they call a Low Calorie Diet). This of course changes based on age, height, activity level, etc. and you should always check with your doctor.

9 weeks at 4 or more per pounds per week. You need to pick a reasonable goal.
