Hiya,
I'm currently on Mike Matthews bigger, leaner stronger year one plan right now and it's going well. Just about to start a cut as I'm at 18% body fat.
Hope everyone is all good after Christmas and new year?

    Hello. Also in the UK.
I lost 3 stone on low carb between April and December but put on 5 pounds over Christmas.
Its not that I pulled the pin on the YOLO grenade. I did my best not to overindulge, so it might have been 10 pounds, I suppose.
    Anyway. Back at it now.
Assume most of us are in that same boat.

    3 stone is good.
Remember a lot of weight fluctuation and what a lot of people lose first is glycogen and water. This is easily lost, but also easily gained.
I would do any major deficits on any food group as you need carbs as much as protein and fat. Just make sure you balance your macros in the correct amounts.
Only exercise and a calorie deficit will help you lose fat. And it's fat you want to lose not weight. Weight can include water, glycogen and lean mass.

    Hello
Also in Norfolk. I've dropped in & out of mfp in the past.
Started running/jogging again & using app to monitor food/calorie intake.
    Full of determination!
