Hi all. My name is Cathy. I have been on this plan for about 7 weeks now and I'm finding its great but I need to step it up a bit now. I've lost nearly 2 stone in weight so far but I'm struggling to motivate myself to do more exercising. It doesn't help that I have a shoulder injury but I'm sure I could work around that. I'm hoping someone out there could be my motivator buddy?

Nice to meet you! I'm Lexi. Motivation is everything. You just have to find it inside you, and push. One rule, you can not give up.. Work through the soreness! And I'm sure there's a way around your shoulder, there might be some exersices to help actually. Check out fitness blender on YouTube, they have amazing videos! Good luck0

Hey that's great advice. I'm always on YouTube but not usually for exercise videos. Not sure why I never thought of that! I'll make sure to look up fitness blender asap. Thanks again.0

They do challenges, short videos, all kinds! It's great and free! They're amazing, they show so much support and will reply to your comments. It's pretty cool!0

That sounds great because I really hate gyms, so I would much prefer to exercise at home. I would also find it easier to fit sessions in during the week. I like to go out walking but I need to be doing some more strength exercises. Do you have a set exercise plan?0

Well, I have issues with sticking to a certain exercise 5-6 days a week and getting sick of doing the same old stuff. So I try to mix it up, like this week I'm doing their 5 day challenge, but other than that I just like to focus on my abs, legs, and arms daily. Some people like to set certain days to body parts, I haven't tried that yet. I like to work my legs every day though. I'm not the healthiest eater.. That's my downfall0

It didn't show everything I typed lol. I did the 21 day fix first which is amazing and helped me loose so much weight but it's 80 dollars for the kit. But the help is that some exercise coaches will offer an alternative, or like a lower impact version of the exercise. My biggest advice is to push through your soreness, stretch a lot, and you'll drop the weight in no time0

I would probably not need to be shown the lower impact exercises as I used to be at the highest level of sport when I was a teenager (ok that was a long time ago)! Are these YouTube sites American if you're talking about paying in dollars as I'm from the UK! Although that shouldn't be a problem. I agree in that you need verity though. It's also better for your body to vary exercises because if you do the same routine for 3 or more weeks your body will not develop any new muscle.0

See I actually didn't know that! I am from the US, I don't think it should make a difference though0

Sorry I was off line 4 a bit. Trying to sleep but I've only had 3hrs in the last 48! Yawn. Anyway, if you were to do the same reps over and over again for more than 3 weeks, your body gets used to it and no longer develops the muscle that's required. That's why it's so important to change your exercise routine regularly. I have actuality learnt something over my many years! Ha ha0
