I just got my A300 today and synced it to my computer with the polar flow web. I can NOT get it to sync with my phone app though, it keeps saying it didn't work. Also, HOW do I use it with MFP? Right now it says I have burned 1208 cals and I have had it on and going for an hr....??? Can anyone help me understand this?

Are you using the Polar Flow app on your phone? Is your BlueTooth on? Is your A300 shown as a device that is connected in your BlueTooth settings? If so, you may need to "forget this device" and resync. It can be glitchy at first, but once it's synced you should be good to go.
I love my A300!

where can I get the PIN to enter on it for my phone ? I got the prompt last night but now I can't get it again after unpairing it

If I remember correctly the PIN shows on the screen of the watch when you are trying to pair. Try pairing again. If you have an android phone you will not be able to sync with MFP, the only thing I HATE about polar products! If you have an Iphone, you can do it but I don't know how, probably add it as a device in your MFP app on your phone.
As for the calories, it is estimating based on your stats you entered is is estimating your cals burned for the day. Once you wear it for a day or two it will be more accurate and less of an estimate, but understand it will always just be an estimate, never 100% accurate.0 -
ok, so my next question, sorry for all of them.... is how do I use the calories on the watch to use as activity calories in the app even if I put them in myself?0

Trying to repair to droid...so that's basically useless then??? I repaired to phone with new PIn and still says "failed" to connect. I'm super frustrated already. I like the basic use of it...but I want it to sync to my phone and figure out the cals.0

I am not sure about the failing to connect thing, you might need to call Polar about that, I have heard their customer service is good, thankfully I haven't had to call them yet.
The calories that are going to show on the watch and on the app once you get connected is going to be your total calorie burn for the day, just day to day activities and staying alive. If you have chest strap that is sold separately then you would wear that during dedicated exercise and start a session on the watch for that and it will tell you your calorie burn for that session (this is what you would consider your exercise calories, calories you would input manually into MFP under exercise). These calories are then added to your overall calories burned for the day as well. Does that make sense?0 -
ok yes the calorie stuff makes sense now, thank you for helping me. I guess I am going to have to call polar to figure out the pairing to the phone. Maybe it's not that necessary now that I think of it, bc I can see it on my watch and I can sync to the computer but it still seems odd to me.0

One more ? I think..... I don't see an option on MFP for inputting just calories burned for an activity like say from my watch vs choosing an activity and MFP assigning the calories burned0
