Insanity

So - I just bought the Insanity workout DVD's. Anyone on here done them? Can you offer any advice?
I have family coming to stay for 5 weeks in 2 weeks time. I don't think I'll be able to stick to a strict exercise regime while they are here (it'll be a full house!!) so am I better to continue what I am doing until after they leave and then hit the Insanity program, or start but just do it sporadically for the first 7 weeks?

I would have to say any exercise is better than none.0

Of course! I agree! But at the moment I am already exercising (bootcamp 1 x per week and cardio / weights 2 or 3 times a week). I'm wondering if I should continue what I am doing until I can completely do the Insanity program or is it worth switching and just doing it halfway until our company is gone and I can dedicate the 6 days a week to it.0

I just started insanity Monday
I would say go ahead and start and get use to it then do the straight 60 days I started Monday and im getting married 2 months from Monday with the recovery week and all I will have a little bit to go afterwards but by then ill practically be done. I don't think the recovery week in the middle is part of or added into the 60.days. good luck

I would wait but only because I know that personally for me, I really had to push myself to do it the 3rd week of each month. It wasn't "new", I wasn't amazed with my progress from the "new week", and my body was beat. I think I would have had a hard time starting it up again if I had stopped at that point.
FYI-Week 4 is a different story again because it's that "last week" before you move on to something different!0
