Hi All, I am new to clean eating and apparently I am short on calories with no sugar. What can I eat that doesn't have any sugar in it? According to my food log everything is good and sugar is sitting at 0 available, yet I am almost 400 calories short because of exercising. No matter what fruit or vegetable I add it appears to have sugar Grams. I don't want to increase my meat since I reserve that for my dinners usually 4 oz. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

well.. everything I read states that eggs and leans meats are the closest you can get to sugar free. Although MFP will still add 1g of sugar per hard boiled egg.. also fish might be an option for you as well.

Sugar from fruits and vegetables are counted in MFP but aren't counted as sugar intake in healthy eating. In general, the sugar allowance on MFP is meant for processed sugars and fruit/veggie sugar can be ignored (unless you're under a medically supervised diet with other restrictions).
If you want, you can turn off the sugar counter and substitute something else in the "settings" mode.
