Modifications for weak wrists?

I have broken both of my wrists from a fall when young and playing sports and exercising has bothered them ever since. I especially have trouble doing anything that involves putting body weight on them, like push ups, yoga, planks, etc. Does anyone else have this problem and have common ways they avoid the pain for specific exercises?

I have very small joints for my frame. One thing that has helped alleviate some wrist strain is building up the forearms. I used to do forearm curls, finger tip gripping dumbbells, and even using the squeeze grip trainers.. those didn't help as much as just heavy bench press. I still use wrist wraps on heavier sets. There are two general types of wrist wraps which are flexible or stiff. I prefer flexible, but if you have really bad wrist pain then perhaps stiff would be better.

Push ups I do on my knuckles and for all my lifting I use wrist wraps. I can tighten or loosen them as needed. There are a couple of exercises I just don't do because they hurt and I don't want to break myself.

you can do pushups/planks holding a dumbbell in each hand so you can keep your wrists straight. My wrists will hurt if i put them flat on the ground, but gripping something doesn't hurt. You can also use an upside down bosu ball and hold the edges. Dont let your wrists bend back, keep them straight and solid, strong
