Hello! Looking to share motivation with weight-loss goals of 40-50lbs!

Hi everyone!

My name's Bethan. I'm a second year university student with an unfortunate penchant for weight yo-yoing! I'm 5ft 8.5", and used to weigh almost 16 stone. At my lowest (on Slimming World) I reached 11 stone 11lbs. Once university started, however, I stopped going to the group weigh-ins, thinking I'd be fine to achieve my goals on my own. Every time I returned home from uni I thought I deserved a 'break', bin and that's where weight has really crept back on.

I'm now weighing in at 196lbs (just under 14 stone), with a goal weight of about 140-150lbs, but I just want to aim for a healthy BMI (about 168lbs) for my first milestone.

In moving to university, I lost the collective support of my family members who were also on Slimming World, so I'd love to do this with other people and share motivation/inspiration with others who have similar goals.
