New Bathroom Scale - Help!

I just purchased a new digital bathroom scale and discarding my old scale. When I stepped on the new scale it is registering my weight appx. 7 lbs heaver than my old scale. How should I log this? Is there a way to 'reset' my original weight so that I can track my weight going forward. I've lost 2.5 lbs since starting MFP and don't want to lose this progress but I'm not sure how to rest my original weight. Any thoughts or ideas?? Thanks!

I wouldn't worry about it. All scales do not weigh the same. Did you weigh yourself first thing this morning or when you brought the new scale home?0 -
I weighed myself both times u mentioned. I want to use this scale going forward but don't want to lose my progress and not sure how to "start over" and log my total weight while keeping my progress.0

that.
the 3 scales i routinely get on, all read different.
you can reset your ticker with a higher starting weight, but keep in mind, its possible your old scale was inaccurate.0 -
If you go to check-in on a desktop computer, you can change any old weight posts, adding 7 pounds to each previous weigh-in to reflect the new scale difference.0
