Dieting was one of the hardest thing I have ever done....... after all the research into all the different diet programs I could do; I decided to use this app and calorie count. I really dislike exercise. I found that missing out on the "unhealthy" delicious food is a main cause for failure. I gave in to temptation to easily...... when I first started in February of 2014 i was 249lbs. I hadn't seen a change on the scale for 4 weeks. Then, the pounds started falling off. Week by week, pound after pound; I kept counting my calories..... I ate all the foods I wanted, never going over my calorie goal.... I gave myself one cheat day a week ( typically) Friday to fulfill my cravings of gluttony. ....... by November of 2014 I made it down to 210lbs. Woohoo!! Lost 39lbs......... Now, after the 2014 holidays and not being able to stop eating throughout 2015 I gained 32 of those pounds back..... boohoo!! So, here I am all over again down another 2 lbs and its been a week and a half.... 2016 will be great!!!

    I know too well how disheartening it is to see the weight lost coming back. I lost so often before and every time I said I will not allow myself to put the weight back on. Here I am still fat, still at it, still fighting... and one day it will click and I will do what is necessary to stay slim.

    I spent 6 weeks in October and November eating a plant based diet and lost 25lbs and felt great with more energy and better sleep. I then switched it off and spent the next six weeks on my normal "eat what I feel like" diet and ended up gaining back 15 of those pounds. I knew i was going to gain those back but wanted to see how I felt otherwise. By the holidays I was breathing heavier, sleeping worse and just didn't feel all that great. Like you, I'm back on the wagon again. Much luck to you sir!

    Your story sounds very familiar to me. What was your calorie limit when you lost before and is that what you're sticking to this time?

    1770 was my limit.... and yes, worked before. It is already working again... :#
