Insanity and p90x are good videos to lead you in the right direction. I don't know if they are boot camp worthy but if you put in a strong effort, you'll make gains.

As for food, cutting back on processed foods and eating more whole foods should help with nutrition.
  • Alright thanks. Will definitely give them a try and start eating a lot healthier.

I have lost 61 lbs since the end of April. I follow the macros on MFP but lower the carbs as I am T2D. I eat a huge variety of food and stick to the calorie count that MFP will work out for you. If you have a Fitbit use it to track steps. People think they are more active than they are. I did nothing drastic. Lots of veggies, legumes, fish, less red meat..followed the 80/20 treat rule and made treats just that and not a daily occurrence. If you do a drastic diet or don't eat enough..it's not sustainable. I have lost reliably every week or maintained if it was a holiday or Christmas etc but it wasn't a season of eating..just the particular meals..if you screw up your eating and go for it..Just pick yourself up, dust yourself off and continue after finding something positive about your day. That is how to get over the slip ups that everyone has. You can do this!!! I am almost 62 years old and my exercise is walking 5 miles per day and doing Tai Chi and strength training with bands nothing wild.. Lol slow and steady. I picked 2 lbs per week to lose and it worked..I reduced it to 1 lbs weekly now as I am 6 lbs away from my goal. BELIEVE and you will do it

Low Carb, High Fat diet. A great book to start on is "Eat Bacon, Don't Jog". It is a quick read and explains in great detail what a low carb, high fat diet will do for your body (Get Lean, Add muscle). I started last year and dropped 40 lbs without exercising. I'm going to start more exercise this year and try to lose another 60 lbs to get to my desired weight. I'm even going to do the Mud Run at Camp Pendleton this year. Good Luck.
  • Wow nice, congrats on reaching your goal!!! Yea if it got you results like that I will definitely give it a try. OK sounds good. Exercising is not a problem for me. I have plenty of free time throughout the day so getting a few work outs in shouldn't be a problem. Thanks for the help.
