I'm 25 years old weighing 116.. I'd like to lose 20 pounds and get in shape. I never had to diet and exercise before and I am having a very hard time sticking to it! Please help me get motivated and share what worked for you guys. I'm getting married this year and would really like to achieve this goal.

Good grief - how short are you that 96lbs is a healthy weight?!

Is 116 a typo? Because if not, unless you're like 5'0 or under, 96lbs is underweight.

4 foot 9 is a healthy height for this weight giving a BMI of 20. Are you 4 foot 9?

I'm sorry 20 pounds was a typo.. I want to lose 16 pounds. I'm 5 feet and looked my best at that weight. I'd like to weight 100 pounds.

Regardless, I'm just seeking some tips to help me stick to my diet and exercising. I only last a week or so and then mess up. It also doesn't help that my fiancé is not dieting. What helps you guys stay on track?
