My name is Shannon. I don't know how much weight I want to lose. I would be happy converting my fat to muscle. I have lots of kids and live on a farm. I also have some health issues that make weight and water retention interesting. I don't fit into any normal category.

I have been up since 3 this morning and had to help one of my ewes with lambing. At least it was only -10C and not -40C. Only have 80+ ewes to have babies and my cows should be due any time too.

    I have 6 kids. My weight yo-yos so much because of my disease. I need to follow a strict diet. Most grains bother me as well as sugar. I try not to buy any processed food and make everything from scratch. If I cheat, I will put on anywhere from 10-20lbs in water retention overnight.

    I don't mind being heavier as long as I am strong. This is why I don't have a goal for how much weight I want to lose. I need to be able to pick up a 150 pound sheep alone straight up out of the feeder if they are stuck, like I can now. I just need to burn off more of the fat that I have.

    Counting calories and seeing how inactive I am, this app does bring those two areas into focus. I used this app before and it did help.
