Hi,

I am continually trying to lose weight but have always, well, the last six years failed at I am. I am hoping that now that I am almost 30 I can actually keep up with this weight lost goal that never seems to end. I will start by minimazing sweets (my biggest temptation!!!) and tracking calories. So wish me luck! Feel free to introduce yourself too and share with me what motivates you! Thanks :)

keep it simple! small cuts and wait for the scale to stop moving before you cut again............little tweaks as you go, you're going to kill it!

    Hi,

The bottom line for fat loss is that you maintain a net calorie deficit over time, so whatever particular cutting diet plan allows you to accomplish that is ultimately going to be successful.

Just make sure you get the fundamentals down first (sufficient intake of protein, fat, fiber and micronutrients), and then lay out your fat burning diet in the way you prefer most.

This includes a wide variety of factors such as your preferred meal frequency, meal spacing, calorie deficit size, food preferences, "cheat foods" etc.

Even if your preferred cutting plan isn't "100% optimal" in terms of bottom line fat loss, it's still going to increase your chances for success if you actually enjoy following it and can maintain it over the long term. :)

Tracking calories both taken on and burned is really helping me. Takes the guess work out of it :0)

Thank you all! I appreciate the advice and motivation. I know that for me the biggest challenge has always been sweets, so setting my mind to smaller portions or just saying no is really the big challenge. Plus with school going to the gym daily sometimes can be hard too. But I am looking forward to keeping it up this time around and reading/following advice. Thanks! <3
