MFP peeps,

I'm 6'5" 390.6 (as of last Saturday) and looking to become a more healthy me, permanently. I was 270 before law school and used every excuse in the book to get to 393 as of last January. My wife and I managed to work together, and with MFP, I lost 45 pounds in 5+ months. Sadly, I sucked again and I'm back to 390.

I'd like to become a more active member of the MFP community to make some friends, share in some mutual encouragement and motivation and reach my current goal of losing 100; on my way to 265 before all is said and done.

Hope to make some friends and best of luck to all on this journey!

Jon

Mutual encouragement and motivation--sounds good to me! I'm looking to lose about 100 lbs as well. I am a writer and spend too much time sitting. I'm trying to balance that now with more physical activity and better food choices. I've been logging in every day since Dec 1 and MFP has really helped!
