cross trainer - good stories?

Hi, with a back injury and problem knee I rely on cross trainer for my cardio work out. I realize a more effective cardio is running. Anyone here has good / success stories on use of cross trainer as main cardio workout?

hi, most of my cardio usually 30 min is the cross trainer and i lost about 16 lbs in 2 months and gained 5 lbs of muscles...i have back and knees problems as well and the CT helps a lot...so don;t worry you are doing a good thing.0

I do 40 min. on stationary bike for 40 min. a day/ 20 min. on precor per day & 20 minutes on eliptical per day and have lost 10 lbs. in first 3 weeks.!0
