Hi everyone,
Just wanted to introduce myself, I'm here because I gained a lot of weight with my last pregnancy. Same thing happened with my first pregnancy and I was able to lose it all and then some! I had gotten down to about 165 lb and I am 5'9". I had been training in the gym and looking and feeling great. And now I'm back at square one. It's a little embarrassing, a little discouraging. I'm one of those people who ALWAYS struggled with their weight. It was never easy for me. I was always yoyo dieting, up 20, down 20 for forever. I always felt *kitten*, like I couldn't enjoy my life because I was bigger than a size 10. Thankfully those days are over. I am grateful to have evolved to a place where I love myself and my body regardless of what weight, size or shape I am. I am worth something, because I'm a mother, a wife, a friend, a daughter and a thoroughly good human being who loves food and loves to enjoy life. So while I am here with a long road ahead of me, I'm in no way worried or stressed. I know the weight will come off, I have no doubt. But I accept that this is for life. I accept that in order for me to be healthy, I have to keep tabs on what I'm eating, I accept that I have to hold myself accountable, and I accept that it must be this way forever. Because I want to be here for my girls, for as long as possible. I don't want to miss a single beautiful moment of their lives. Along with that, I want to be able to live my own life to the fullest, and I cannot do that in this body, that is for sure. Anyhow, I hope to make some friends along the way, I'm always happy to encourage others, let's do this together! Cheers and good luck to us all!
