How many calories should I count from poaching liquid?

I'm making miso-poached chicken breast -- but I'm unsure of how many calories to log for the poaching liquid. I know it's really hard to guestimate (because of water evaporation), but does anyone have any rules of thumb?

If you're going to consume all of it, then count all of the calories. If you are going to remove the chicken from the poaching liquid that's a tougher question. I'd probably count 2-3 tablespoons (depending on how thick the liquid is) to cover whatever the chicken managed to absorb, plus the outer coating.0

I would honestly just add an extra 50 calories to your log and call it a day. I'm sure the calories are negligible, but just so you can add something, add 25-50 to make sure you've got it covered.0

For me, unless I was poaching in oil I would let it slide.0
